Our Accuser & Our Advocate

The Bible says that Jesus is our Advocate. What is an advocate anyway? This underwhelming word points us beautifully to the compassionate heart of Christ. Satan is our Accuser (Revelation 12:10) but Jesus is our Advocate (I John 2:1-2). Which one do you think God will listen to?
